[In his defense, there was literally no warning.

[He's not even surprised by the okay, that feels like a classic Anaido response at this point. What does he want? That's a hell of a question. He's fairly certain what he really wants is impossible, which is why he defaults to something easier. Just to watch other people suffer and be miserable. Level the playing field the other way.]
